F A Q

When are the races?
The 2nd and 4th saturdays every month at 9am, weather permitting.

Do I need a track membership to race?
No. Racing is open to everyone. It's $15 per class ($10 for each additional) on sunday races, $7 per class on wednesday nights. Kids under 12 race free. A membership is NOT required to race.

What classes do you usually run on race days?
Short Course 2WD and 4WD, 1/8 scale Nitro Buggy, sometimes Truggy and Monster Truck.

When is the track open for members?
The track is open during park hours: sunrise to sunset.

How much are memberships?
$95 for an adult membership and $20 for each additional family member for year-round access during park hours. You'll receive a key to access the gate. Year-round memberships are handled by Elings Park. Their email is info@elingspark.org

Where do our membership fees go?
All proceeds from the membership go directly to the park to cover insurance and liability.

Is a day pass available?
We are currently working with the park to get something established.

Is Elings Park a publicly funded park?

No. Elings Park is a non-profit, privately-funded 230 acre park.

Can we modify the track?
Not without permission, please email elingsraceway@gmail.com. Maintenance like sweeping, weeding, removing rocks, and watering are always encouraged.

How is the track reconfigured?
Every  year the track is rebuilt with heavy equipment which drives the cost up to around $3000. Elings Park does not provide any financial aid to the R/C track meaning that any maintenance required is privately funded.

What are the race fees used for?
The race director is paid out of the race fees.
